Translink 2050 Plans

Our website will help users better visualize Translink 2050 plans such as their plan of doubling the regional bus service or their plan to build the SFU Gondola. We have separated the Translink plans into four main sections: changes to the bus system, changes to the gondola, changes to the train, and changes to the cycling paths.

In terms of our design direction, upon landing on the website, you will see a floating mountainous island. There are strains crossing the trees, buses shuttling between neighbourhoods, bikes lining up near a tourist attraction, and gondolas moving toward the top of the mountain. By clicking on each of the transportation methods, you can see a close-up of the item and make a short trip around the island from the point of view of a rider in that vehicle.
